The team and children at Happy Days Childcare just couldn’t resist the request from Comic Relief to do something funny for money and got straight into having a madcap day, all in aid of the charity.
Happy Days Childcare has five nurseries across Fylde and they all took part in Red Nose Day. The children had been waiting all week to don their red noses and they sported many varieties and wore them with pride.
But it wasn’t just the children taking part; the team has also been getting up to some crazy things. They all decided to dress in odd clothes donating a £1 each, there was a lovely array of inside out tops, odd colours and even a pair of trousers covered in Despicable Me ‘minions’. They also did a bush tucker trial eating absolutely awful food to raise money.
Catherine Rosenfield, Operations Manager at Happy Days Nursery said, “We always encourage our children to have fun and be aware of others and raising money for Comic Relief has certainly helped us to do that whilst also contributing towards a great cause.”
