These children have been putting the fun into frights (with a little help from their parents!)
Happy Days nurseries across the Fylde have been getting into the Halloween mood by holding a series of Stay & Play events.
The spooky sessions have been designed so children and adults can take part in a number of activities to celebrate the scary season.
Traditional games such as bobbing for apples and painting activities were encouraged and the youngsters were also taking part in making Halloween masks and witches hats.
The children have been busy in the weeks leading up to Halloween by creating their own cauldrons and decorations which adorn the six nurseries across the coast.
Happy Days Nurseries provide childcare for children aged three months to five years at a number of centres across the Fylde coast.
Michelle Wood, nursery manager at Ansdell Happy Days, said: “There’s been lots of activities in the run-up to Halloween and the children have been really interested in the subject. They love dressing up and interacting with all the games on offer.
“We wanted to involve the parents and families this year with Halloween as many are too young to go out trick or treating so we thought we’d involve the families of the children more so we have encouraged them to dress up and get in the mood for the spooky season!”
