Happy Days Childcare celebrated the birth of the royal baby – 1 day early!

Happy Days Childcare princesses and princes. The children at Norbreck Happy Days Nursery in Thornton-Cleveleys couldn’t wait a moment longer to celebrate the imminent arrival of the new royal baby and celebrated on Friday 1 May!

Excitement was running high as they were all hoping that the baby would be born whilst they were at nursery. The team at Happy Days organised a fun filled party day with a royal tea party in the afternoon for the children.

During the royal themed day, the children made tiaras and crowns and came dressed up as princesses and princes before posing for a ‘royal family style photo’. There was much guessing about whether it would be a boy or a girl and of course lots of name suggestions for the new arrival.

Emma Walker, Childcare Manager at Happy Days Nursery said, “The children were so excited, they had a lovely time dressing up and learning all about the royal family. They had to wait until Saturday for the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s daughter Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, but they had all celebrated it in style!”
