Introduction to Norbreck Pre-School

Norbreck Happy Days is a purpose built childcare site comprising of a variety of quality childcare services, which can be found below, all of our services provide high quality, professional care, delivered by qualified trained staff, who are all DBS cleared.

We aim to provide maximum opportunities to enable each child to reach their full potential including:

Norbreck Pre-School

At Norbreck Happy days we cater for children aged between 2 and 4 years, term time only. We are open from 8.30am until 3 pm and do am or pm half day sessions and full day sessions. Each child has their own key person who completes a record of achievement and plans necessary activities to support your child’s development and learning.

At Norbreck Pre-School we also provide breakfast and a small afternoon snack. Breakfast consists of toast, a variety of cereal and fruit with fresh milk and water. Children are given the independence of selecting their own item and pouring their own drink this is given throughout the time 9.00am and 9.30am as a continuous provision which gives children the option to have breakfast or continue playing if they so wish. Snack is also provided as a continuous provision at between 1.20pm and 2pm.

At Norbreck happy days Pre-School we also have a weekly tiddly-om-poms session where the group are able to take part in rhyming and singing to support phonics. We also have a weekly dance workshop the day of this changes weekly so all the children have the opportunity to take part. Twice a year we also hold a parent’s evening where all parents and carers are invited to discuss your child’s development and look through their record of achievement.
